Michigan State University Railway Management Programs
Dennis Neilson and Bill Wick were invited to present on behalf of MSU's Railway Management Program to the Class I Railroads and AAR members at the Safety and Operations Management Committee (SOMC) Meeting in Colorado Springs on May 14th 2010. They shared with the group a video summarizing the program, followed with a discussion of the course objectives, identifying the best-suited candidates for participation, and closed by sharing the news of a developing Masters of Science in Supply Chain Management with a Specialization in Railway Management that is presently under development. Messrs. Wick, Neilson and Gilstad also announced their intention to visit all of the major Railroads to discuss research and project opportunities.
